Affiliate Program Terms
These are the terms of the inDM affiliate program. They are short on purpose, and they say the same things the program page says. If anything here reads as a surprise after that page, the surprise is a mistake on our side and we want to hear about it.

Who can join
Anyone with an inDM account. There is no follower minimum, no application
and no approval step, and joining is free. Creating an account and opening
Refer & earn is the whole of it.
We can pause an affiliate account if it is being used in a way these terms
rule out. Pausing stops new referrals being attributed. It does not cancel
referrals already recorded, and it does not cancel commission already
earned.
What you earn
30% of every payment an inDM workspace makes, for as long as that
workspace keeps paying, where the workspace was referred by you.
Commission is 30% of the amount we actually collect for the subscription,
excluding sales tax and VAT. Our payment provider is the merchant of
record, so tax is added on top of the plan price and is not part of what
either of us is paid on. The intro month therefore pays commission on the
intro price rather than on the renewal price.
There is no cap on how long you earn, no cap on how many creators you can
refer, and no cap on the total.
How a referral is attributed
When somebody opens your referral link, we store a code in their browser
for 60 days.
A referral is recorded when that person creates an inDM account inside
those 60 days. It is not recorded at the moment they pay, which is the
part most programs get wrong for a product with a free plan: a creator can
sign up free, use inDM for months, upgrade later, and you are still
credited.
Three rules follow from that, and all three are enforced in code rather
than by review:
- First touch wins. If a browser already carries an unexpired code, a
later link does not replace it. The creator who first introduced somebody
keeps the credit. - One referrer per workspace, permanently. A workspace is attributed
once and never re-attributed. - An existing customer cannot be re-attributed. A workspace that has
already paid us, or that was created more than 60 days ago, cannot be
attached to a referral.
Self referral does not count. Signing up through your own link earns
nothing, and the system will not record it.
What we ask of you
- Disclose the link. Tell people it is a referral link. Every major
platform requires it, and it is the honest thing regardless. - Do not bid on our brand terms in paid search. We run those campaigns
ourselves, so an affiliate bidding on "inDM" means we buy the same click
twice. - Do not misrepresent what inDM does. Do not promise outcomes on our
behalf, do not claim inDM is endorsed or certified by Meta (it is not,
and we say so on every page), and do not describe features that do not
exist. If you are unsure whether something is true, ask us. - No coupon, deal or cashback sites, and no unsolicited email or DM
spam. Traffic that would have found us anyway is not a referral, and
spam costs us the deliverability the product depends on.
You are welcome to promote other tools, including tools that compete with
us. There is no exclusivity in this program.
Clearing, refunds and payouts
Each payment's commission clears 30 days after the payment lands. That
window exists because a customer can ask for a refund, and we would rather
wait than take money back from you.
If a payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is reversed. A
reversal comes off your next payout, never out of one already sent.
Payouts happen when you request one. There is no scheduled payout day.
Once at least $25 has cleared you can request a payout from your
dashboard, and our team settles every commission that is verified and past
its 30 days, by PayPal or Wise. You choose the method and give us the
detail; we do not hold your payment details anywhere the app can read them.
Below $25 the balance simply carries forward. Nothing expires.
A commission we are still checking is not included, and it is not lost
either. It stays out of the total until it is confirmed, and then it joins
the next payout you request.
Any fee your payment provider charges to receive the transfer is yours, and
any tax you owe on what you earn is yours. We are not your employer and
this is not employment.
What we show you, and what we do not
Your dashboard shows the date each referred creator signed up, whether they
are currently paying, and what each has earned you.
It does not show their name, their handle or their email. They are our
customer as well as your referral, and they never agreed to be identified
to whoever sent them. We would not share your details with somebody else
either.
Changes
If we change the rate, the window, the hold or the minimum, the change
applies to referrals recorded after it. Commission already earned is
calculated at the rate that applied when it was earned, which is why we
store that rate against every line rather than looking it up later.
We will say what changed and when on this page.
Ending the program
Either of us can stop at any time. If we wind the program down, we pay out
everything already earned, including what is still inside its 30 day
clearing window.
