Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and inDM ("we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the inDM application, website, and services (together, the "Service"). inDM connects to your Instagram Business or Creator account — with your permission — and automates replies to comments, story replies, and direct messages. Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use inDM.

inDM is an independent product. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. "Instagram," "Reels," and "Stories" are trademarks of Meta and are used here only to describe how inDM works.
1. The agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan or order details you agree to, make up the entire agreement between you and inDM. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of our right to do so later. We may update these Terms as the Service evolves — see Section 15.
2. Who can use inDM
To use inDM, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old and can form a binding contract.
- If you use inDM on behalf of a business or other organization, you have the authority to bind it to these Terms — and "you" then means that organization.
- You have an eligible Instagram Business or Creator account and the right to connect it and act on it.
- You are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your country or any applicable sanctions or trade restrictions.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the information you provide when you sign up, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form. Tell us promptly at support@bloom.social if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Connecting your Instagram account
When you connect Instagram through Meta's official login, you authorize inDM to access your account and act on your behalf — limited to the permissions you grant — so we can run the automations you set up. You keep full control and can revoke access at any time from your Instagram settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your use of Instagram remains governed by Meta and Instagram's own terms and policies. You are responsible for following them, and for making sure the way you use inDM stays within them. Because the Service depends on Meta's platform, changes Meta makes to its APIs, policies, or permissions can affect what inDM can do.
5. Acceptable use
inDM is built for genuine, welcome conversations with your audience. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or misleading or deceptive content.
- Violate Instagram's Platform Policy, Community Guidelines, or any Meta terms — or any applicable law.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm anyone, or infringe anyone else's rights.
- Share or promote unlawful, hateful, or infringing content, or content you don't have the right to send.
- Collect or use anyone's personal data without the consent and legal basis you're required to have.
- Bypass rate limits, security measures, or the scope of the permissions you were granted; or reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to others except as we expressly allow.
You are solely responsible for the automations you create and the messages they send. To keep the Service healthy and compliant with Meta, we may set reasonable usage limits and may review, limit, or remove automations that put your account or ours at risk.
6. Your content
"Your Content" means the messages, templates, links, media, contacts, and other material you provide or that your automations create. You keep all ownership of Your Content. You grant inDM a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you. You represent that you have the rights to Your Content and that it complies with these Terms and applicable law.
7. Plans, billing, and payment
inDM offers a free trial and a paid plan called Growth:
- Free trial. Start free, with no card required, including up to 1,000 DMs so you can prove the Service works for you.
- Growth — $9.99 / month. Includes 10,000 DMs per month, then $1 per additional 1,000 DMs. You're billed based on the number of DMs your automations send, so your cost scales gently with your growth.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. Fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for any taxes that apply. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change our pricing or plans, and will give you reasonable advance notice; changes take effect at the start of your next billing period. As a pre-launch product, plans and pricing may still change before general availability.
8. Cancellation and termination
You can cancel anytime. When you cancel a paid plan, your automations keep running through the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. You can delete your account and data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk for you, inDM, or others, or if we must do so to comply with Meta's requirements or the law. Where practical, we'll give you notice and a chance to put things right. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service — including inDM's software, design, and brand — is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Everything not expressly granted is reserved. You may not use our name or logos without our permission. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them freely to improve the Service.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties — Meta and Instagram above all, plus providers like our hosting, database, and analytics vendors. We don't control those services, and their availability, changes, or policies may affect inDM. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's terms, and we are not responsible for it.
11. Disclaimers
We work hard to make inDM reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't promise specific results — such as a level of growth, followers, sales, or engagement — and we can't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Instagram will remain available or compatible with it.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, inDM and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold inDM harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your automations, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the terms of Meta or Instagram.
14. Changes to the Service
inDM is evolving quickly. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set or adjust limits, to keep the Service working well and in line with Meta's platform. If we plan to discontinue a material part of the Service, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use inDM after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can stop using the Service and close your account.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at support@bloom.social so we can try to resolve it directly — that's almost always the fastest way. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be subject to the courts located in the State of Delaware, United States, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
