Run the math on your last good week: count the DMs an automation would have sent, including the second message that delivers the link. On per-DM pricing that number is your bill; on inDM it's almost certainly inside the flat plan. What counts as a DM with us: each message we send on your behalf — no other multipliers.

- Rewind. CreatorFlow can replay comments from before you set the automation up, so old posts convert retroactively. inDM doesn't do this yet — automations act on engagement from the moment they go live.

- Time in market. They've shipped longer, and some rough edges we both have are better documented on their side.
Questions, answered plainly
Is inDM just a cheaper CreatorFlow?
The overlap is real — both are Instagram-only and content-anchored. The products diverge in feel: inDM is built around one clear action per screen, a live DM preview, and a flat plan. Cheaper is a side effect of simpler, not the strategy.
Can inDM replay comments from before I joined?
Not yet — that's CreatorFlow's Rewind, and it's genuinely useful. inDM automations act on engagement from the moment they're live. Replaying past comments is on our roadmap, and we'd rather say not yet than pretend.
Does inDM have a template library?
inDM ships with starter templates for the common plays — comment-to-link, story replies, email capture — and the library is growing. CreatorFlow's is bigger today; ours is curated so every template reads like a real DM, not a form letter.
Can I switch from ManyChat or another tool?
Yes. Disconnect isn't even required first — connect your Instagram to inDM, rebuild your key automations (most creators have three or four that matter), preview, and set them live. Conversation history doesn't transfer between tools — no tool can import another's — so export your contacts from the old tool for your records. Is Instagram DM automation allowed?
Yes — when it runs through Meta's official Instagram API on a professional account, and only messages people whose own action invited it, like commenting a keyword or replying to a story. That's exactly how inDM works. What breaks the rules is different: unofficial apps that ask for your password, scraping, purchased engagement, and cold outreach to people who never engaged.
