Moving day

Same plays, calmer meter

CreatorFlow and inDM do the same core job — here's what actually changes when you move, starting with the bill.

The pricing delta

CreatorFlow prices per DM sent, and every outbound message counts — including repeat messages to the same person. The mechanics mean your bill peaks in exactly the weeks your content performs best.

inDM is one flat plan: $9.99 a month with 10,000 DMs included, then $1 per extra 1,000. A viral reel costs you a few dollars of overage at most — the win stays a win.

Run your own math on your best recent week: count the outbound DMs your automations sent (openers and link messages both), then price that week both ways. That number decides this switch more honestly than any comparison page.

Moving day, step by step

Note your top automations and export contacts

Write down the three or four automations doing the real work — keyword, DM copy, link — and export your contacts from CreatorFlow for your records.

Connect Instagram to inDM

Connect through Instagram's own login. Your CreatorFlow automations keep running meanwhile — nothing breaks by connecting a second tool.

Rebuild each play, preview, go live

Recreate each automation on its post: keyword, public reply, DM, link card. The live preview renders the exact exchange — including the button tap — before you commit.

Pause the CreatorFlow versions

As each inDM automation starts firing, pause its CreatorFlow twin so nobody gets doubled DMs. Keep the old account read-only until you're confident, then close it out.

What you gain
  • A bill that doesn't spike on your best weeks
  • One clear action per screen — no stacked upgrade prompts
  • The live DM preview while you build
  • Honest states everywhere: real limits, no dark patterns
Keep in mind
  • Rewind has no inDM equivalent yet — old comments from before go-live aren't replayed
  • CreatorFlow's template library is larger today
  • Conversation history stays behind (true of any tool switch)
Good to know

Questions, answered plainly

Why do the two bills behave so differently?

CreatorFlow meters every outbound DM including repeats, so cost tracks activity spikes. inDM includes 10,000 DMs in a flat plan, so cost tracks time. Same automations, opposite bill shapes — your best week is where you feel it.

Will my keywords behave the same in inDM?

Yes — comment keywords, story replies, and DM keywords all work, matched case-insensitively, anchored to the post you pick. The two-message pattern (opener, then link after the tap) follows Instagram's rules in both tools.

What am I giving up, honestly?

Rewind and library breadth — CreatorFlow replays pre-setup comments and has more templates today. If either is central to how you work, wait for us; we'd rather you switch once, happily.
