Wishlink is an Indian creator platform that pays you commission when your audience buys from its partner brands, and its Engage feature sends product links by DM when someone comments a keyword. inDM is a DM automation tool that sends the links you choose. The two overlap on comment-to-DM and differ on most other things.
If you want to earn commission on products from the brands in Wishlink's catalogue, Wishlink is the one built for that. Its pages are written for creators in India, and its Terms of Service open by asking you to confirm that you are an Indian resident.
If you want to send your own links, such as a course, a booking page or a product page, with the follow gate, the email gate and a live preview of every message, inDM is the one built for that, and its Free plan costs $0. Growth is $4.99 for the first month, then $14.99 a month.
Wishlink publishes no subscription price and no commission percentage on its own pages, so there is no dollar-for-dollar comparison here. Figures and claims are as of 15 October 2026, so open Wishlink's pages before you decide.
Why creators switch
Send the links you choose
inDM sends the links you give it, and Growth adds up to 3 links in one message. Wishlink's pages describe Engage as sending product links, and its Terms describe Product Links as links to the brand websites in its catalogue, so check inside Wishlink before you plan to send something else.
See the message before it sends
inDM attaches each automation to a real post, reel or story and shows the exact DM, bubbles, buttons and link card, on screen while you build. You read the message before anything goes out.
Both gates on the free plan
inDM's Free plan includes the follow gate and the email gate, every automation type and unlimited keywords, on one Instagram account with no card. The Wishlink pages we read on 15 October 2026 do not describe either gate.

The pricing math
Free forever: $0, no card, unlimited messages, every automation type, unlimited keywords, the follow and email gates, analytics, the unified inbox, contacts with CSV export, on one Instagram account. Growth adds your brand alone on your messages, up to 5 Instagram accounts, unlimited automations, up to 3 links in one DM, a follow-up message 30 minutes to 20 hours later, automations that wait for your next post, broadcasts to your audience, your whole team in one workspace, follow and email asks in your own words, and who clicks your links and where they are, at $4.99 for the first month, then $14.99 a month. Agency Lite is $39 a month for up to 15 Instagram accounts, and Agency Pro is $99 a month for 30, then $3 a month for each one after. inDM bills in USD at the same price wherever you are.
No creator subscription price appears on any Wishlink page we read on 2026-10-15, and the site has no pricing page. Creators earn commission when their audience buys from a partner brand. Wishlink publishes no commission percentage, and its Terms of Service say it sets commission for each brand and can change it without prior notice to creators. Payouts are processed monthly on net order value after returns and cancellations, once brands confirm the orders. Wishlink Engage, its comment-to-DM feature, has no separate price, plan or terms on the pages we read.
These are two different kinds of cost. inDM charges for software, so what you pay is the plan price, and it does not move with your sales. Wishlink's published model pays you for sales: no fee for creators is listed, and what you earn depends on a commission that is not published and is set brand by brand. We found no commission percentage on Wishlink's own pages, so we do not print one, and a dollar comparison would need numbers neither side gives. Figures are as of 2026-10-15.
Where Wishlink is genuinely strong
Where Wishlink is the better pick, plainly:
- Earning commission. Wishlink pays commission when your audience buys from its partner brands, with monthly payouts. inDM connects you to no brands and gives you nothing to promote.
- Products and support built around creators in India. Its home page offers products from partner brands at no cost to create content with, a creator success team and a creator community, and it shows Indian retailers such as Myntra, Nykaa and Ajio. inDM offers none of these.
- Automation and earnings in one place. Engage sends product links from Wishlink's catalogue, and the same account has an earnings dashboard for them. With inDM, you track what your links earn inside the program that pays you.
What is Wishlink?
Wishlink is a creator monetization platform run by Creatormon Private Limited in Gurugram, India, and founded in 2022, according to its About page. Its home page, read on 15 October 2026, says creators connect an Instagram or YouTube account, share product links and earn commission when their audience buys from its partner brands. It lists 250+ brands and describes more than links: a personal Wishlink Shop page, an earnings dashboard, a creator success team, free product sourcing for content, and Wishlink Engage.
Wishlink is not a DM tool first. It is a place where creators earn on products, and its DM feature serves that.
How does Wishlink's Engage work?
Wishlink Engage is the part of Wishlink that replies to comments and sends product links by DM. Its home page says it auto-replies to your audience's comments and shares product links directly over DMs. An April 2023 post on Wishlink's own engineering blog describes the flow: someone comments a chosen keyword on a post, an automatic reply goes to the comment, and a carousel of products arrives in their DMs. The post says Wishlink built it together with Meta's e-commerce team. A case study on Wishlink's site describes automated replies to 'link please' comments.
Wishlink's pages do not list Engage's price, plan, limits or settings. They do not say whether it can send links that are not Wishlink product links, and they do not say which Instagram connection it uses. Those are the questions to put to Wishlink before you rely on it.
How does Wishlink pay creators?
Wishlink pays creators commission on qualifying purchases, and its Terms of Service, read on 15 October 2026, set the rules. Eligible earnings are calculated on net order value after the returns and cancellations that brands report, and Wishlink processes a payout only after it receives the brands' confirmation data. The home page FAQ says payments are processed on the last day of the month. Wishlink sets commission for each brand and can change it without prior notice to creators. The Terms also describe compensation for impressions above a threshold set per campaign, and say Wishlink may withhold taxes under Indian law.
Wishlink's pages do not publish commission percentages, and they do not say how a commission is divided between Wishlink and the creator. We have not repeated a percentage from anywhere else, because we could not find one on Wishlink's own pages.
Wishlink vs inDM: which should you choose?
Choose Wishlink if earning commission from brands in its catalogue is the goal, if your audience shops from the Indian retailers it lists, or if you want product sourcing, a creator success team and your DMs handled in one place. The Terms ask you to confirm you are an Indian resident, so if you live elsewhere, ask Wishlink first. Its Terms also say creators are not exclusive to Wishlink.
Choose inDM if you want to send links you pick, such as your own course, a booking page or a product page, with the follow gate, the email gate, every automation type and unlimited keywords on a free plan with no card. The free plan covers one Instagram account. When you need up to 5 accounts, your brand alone on your messages or a follow-up message hours later, Growth adds them at $4.99 for the first month, then $14.99 a month. The pricing page lists every difference. inDM answers people who comment on your post or reel, reply to your story or message you first. It cannot message anyone who has never contacted you, and it has no AI-written replies.
Is inDM a good Wishlink alternative?
It depends on which half of Wishlink you want to replace. inDM is a good alternative to Engage if what you need is comment-to-DM automation with links you choose, a live preview and a free plan. It is not an alternative to Wishlink's commission, brand catalogue or payouts, because inDM has none of them. Some creators may keep Wishlink for what it pays and use a separate tool for the DMs, which raises the next question.
Can you use Wishlink and inDM together?
Two tools can serve the same account, but only one private reply can go to any one comment. Meta's developer documentation on private replies, updated 30 June 2026 and read on 15 October 2026, says only one message can be sent to a commenter, within 7 days of the comment. When two tools both answer the same comment, they compete for that single reply. The guide to using two DM tools on one account explains how to split your posts between them, and the private reply entry covers the two limits that bite.
One more check before you put Wishlink links inside inDM. inDM sends every link through its own redirect to count taps. Wishlink's Terms say commission may not be paid if its Product Links are not formatted the way Wishlink specifies, and they do not mention redirects either way. Ask Wishlink first. The same question for Amazon links has a clear answer in Amazon affiliate links on Instagram.
Where this comparison stops
We read only Wishlink's public pages and an April 2023 engineering post, and we did not create a Wishlink account, so anything inside the app is not covered. We could not verify Engage's price or plan limits, whether Engage can send links outside Wishlink's catalogue, any commission percentage, how a commission is split between Wishlink and a creator, whether creators outside India can join and be paid in practice, or which Instagram connection Engage uses. We did not test how either tool behaves day to day. Wishlink's own figures about sales and clicks come from its own posts, so we have not repeated them.
How we checked
On 15 October 2026 we read wishlink.com's home page, /w/about-us, /w/brand and /w/terms-of-service, the case study at /w/case-studies/transforming-comments-into-commissions, and Wishlink's engineering blog post of 11 April 2023. We read Meta's developer documentation on private replies for the one-reply rule. Wishlink's pages change, so treat every figure above as a snapshot.

Questions, answered plainly
Is there a Wishlink auto DM tool for Instagram comments?
Yes. Wishlink Engage replies to comments and sends product links by DM, according to Wishlink's home page, read on 15 October 2026. An April 2023 post on its engineering blog describes a keyword comment that gets a public reply and a carousel of products in the person's DMs. Its pages do not list a price, plan or limits for Engage.
Is Wishlink free to use?
No creator subscription price appears on any Wishlink page we read on 15 October 2026, and the site has no pricing page. Creators earn commission on purchases from partner brands instead. Wishlink publishes no commission percentage, and its Terms say it can change commission for a brand without prior notice to creators.
Can Wishlink send links that are not from its partner brands?
Wishlink's pages describe Engage as sending product links, and its Terms describe Product Links as links to the brand websites in its catalogue. They do not say whether Engage can send other kinds of link, such as a course or a booking page. Ask Wishlink before you build around it. inDM sends the links you choose.
Does Wishlink work outside India?
Wishlink's pages are written for India. Its Terms of Service open by asking you to confirm that you are an Indian resident, its payout example is in rupees and its home page shows Indian retailers. The tax section of the same Terms also covers non-residents, so the pages do not settle it. Ask Wishlink if you live elsewhere. inDM bills in USD at the same price wherever you are and needs an Instagram Business or Creator account.
Can I switch from ManyChat or another tool?
Yes. Disconnect isn't even required first: connect your Instagram to inDM, rebuild your key automations (most creators have three or four that matter), preview, and set them live. Conversation history doesn't transfer between tools, no tool can import another's, so export your contacts from the old tool for your records. The switch guides walk through the order of operations.
Is Instagram DM automation allowed?
Yes. When it runs through Meta's official Instagram API on a professional account, and only messages people whose own action invited it, like commenting a keyword or replying to a story. That's exactly how inDM works. What breaks the rules is different: unofficial apps that ask for your password, scraping, purchased engagement, and cold outreach to people who never engaged.
