Read the free tier twice
ReplyRush prices aggressively and publishes in both USD and INR. The catch isn't the price — it's which features each tier is allowed to use.
ReplyRush is priced to win a spreadsheet comparison, and at its upper tiers it does: 40,000 DMs for $25 is a genuinely low rate, and MAX at 400,000 for $100 is lower still. It is also one of only three tools in this category that publishes an India price, quoted in rupees right next to the dollar figure.
The thing to look at is not the allowance. It is the feature column. ReplyRush's free tier does not include comment auto-reply or the follow gate — the two mechanics that most people are actually shopping for. And branding stays on your messages through Free and Lite; removing it means Boost at $25.
There is a second cap most comparisons miss: global triggers are limited per connected account — 5 on Free, 20 on Lite, 50 on Boost, 500 on MAX. So the tier decides not just how much you send, but how many automations you are allowed to run at all.
inDM has one meter and no feature gates. Every automation type, unlimited automations and keywords, the follow gate, analytics and the inbox are on the free plan. The only thing that changes when you pay is how many messages you can send.
Why creators switch
The free plan does the actual job
ReplyRush's free tier excludes comment auto-reply and the follow gate. inDM's free plan includes every automation type, unlimited automations and keywords, the follow gate, full analytics and the unified inbox — 1,000 messages a month, no card. It is the whole product at a smaller volume, not a demo.
No trigger caps, no account caps
ReplyRush limits global triggers per account (5/20/50/500) and connected accounts (1/1/3/5). inDM limits neither. Run as many automations and keywords as you like, on as many accounts as you run.
Branding is never the price of entry
ReplyRush keeps its branding on your messages through Free and Lite; Boost at $25 removes it. inDM adds no badge at all — and if you switch ours on for an automation, that automation's messages stop counting toward your allowance.

The pricing math
Free forever: $0, no card, 1,000 messages a month, with every automation type, unlimited automations and keywords, the follow gate, full analytics and the unified inbox. Then Growth at $9.99 a month for 10,000 DMs, or $19.99 for 30,000 with $1 per extra 1,000 above. No account cap, no trigger cap, no feature gated behind a tier. Switch the Powered by inDM badge on for an automation and that automation stops counting entirely. inDM bills in USD — $9.99 a month wherever you are.
Four tiers with a monthly DM allowance, published in USD and INR side by side, checked 2026-08-14. Free $0 / ₹0: 1,500 DMs, 1 Instagram + 1 Facebook, 5 triggers per account, branding on, no comment auto-reply and no follow gate. Lite $10 / ₹900: 7,500 DMs, 1 Instagram + 1 Facebook, 20 triggers, branding still on. Boost $25 / ₹2,100: 40,000 DMs, 3 Instagram + 3 Facebook, 50 triggers, branding removed. MAX $100 / ₹8,400: 400,000 DMs, 5 Instagram + 5 Facebook, 500 triggers.
Per DM, ReplyRush Lite is $10 / 7,500 = $0.00133 and inDM Growth is $9.99 / 10,000 = $0.001, so we are cheaper at the entry tier on both rate and allowance. Above that it reverses: Boost is $0.000625 per DM and MAX is $0.00025, both below our rate. But the per-DM number is the wrong lens on this particular comparison, because their tiers gate features and ours do not. A ReplyRush free or Lite plan cannot run comment auto-reply or a follow gate at any price per message, and every plan below Boost carries their branding. Compare what each tier is permitted to do before comparing what it costs. Figures as of 2026-08-14 for ReplyRush and 2026-08-12 for inDM.

Where ReplyRush is genuinely strong
Where ReplyRush is the better choice, stated plainly:
- Rate at volume. Boost at $25 for 40,000 DMs and MAX at $100 for 400,000 are both cheaper per message than our published plans. If you send at that scale and can live with the trigger caps, the arithmetic favours them.
- Facebook alongside Instagram. Every ReplyRush tier includes Facebook accounts at parity with Instagram. inDM is deliberately Instagram-only, so if Messenger automation is part of the job we do not replace them.
- Rupee pricing on the page. They quote INR next to USD (₹0 / ₹900 / ₹2,100 / ₹8,400), so an Indian buyer sees their own currency at the point of decision. inDM bills in USD.
What is ReplyRush?
ReplyRush is an Instagram and Facebook DM automation tool built on comment triggers, story replies and keyword DMs. It prices on a monthly allowance of messages sent, across four tiers, and it publishes those tiers in both US dollars and Indian rupees on the same page — one of only three tools in this comparison set that does.
Its public positioning is explicitly price-led; the pricing page titles itself as the cheaper option against the incumbent. That is their framing, not ours, but it does tell you what the product is optimised for.
The pricing, and the part the pricing hides
Their published tiers, checked 2026-08-14:
- Free — $0 / ₹0. 1,500 DMs a month, 1 Instagram + 1 Facebook account, 5 global triggers per account, ReplyRush branding on messages. No comment auto-reply. No follow gate.
- Lite — $10 / ₹900. 7,500 DMs, still 1 Instagram + 1 Facebook, 20 triggers per account. Branding still on.
- Boost — $25 / ₹2,100. 40,000 DMs, 3 Instagram + 3 Facebook, 50 triggers per account. Branding removed.
- MAX — $100 / ₹8,400. 400,000 DMs, 5 Instagram + 5 Facebook, 500 triggers per account.
Divided out, the upper tiers are cheap: Boost is $0.000625 per DM and MAX is $0.00025, both under our $0.001. We are cheaper at the entry point — $9.99 for 10,000 against Lite's $10 for 7,500 — and considerably cheaper than nothing, which is what their free tier can do on the job most people want.
Because that is the real finding here: ReplyRush gates features by tier, not just volume. A free ReplyRush account cannot run comment auto-reply. It cannot run a follow gate. Those two mechanics are, for most creators, the entire reason to install an Instagram DM tool. The free tier is a different, smaller product rather than a smaller allowance of the same one.
And there is a second cap that rarely shows up in comparisons: global triggers are limited per connected account. Five on Free. Twenty on Lite. Fifty on Boost. Five hundred on MAX. So your tier decides how many distinct automations you are allowed to have running, independent of how many messages you send through them.
How inDM is shaped differently
inDM has exactly one meter: messages sent. Nothing else is rationed.
The free plan — $0, no card, 1,000 messages a month — includes every automation type, unlimited automations and unlimited keywords, the follow gate, full analytics, the unified inbox and contacts. It is the entire product at a smaller volume. There is no feature you unlock by paying; there is only more room.
Connected accounts are not capped on any plan, including the free one. Neither are triggers or keywords. And there is no badge on your messages unless you choose to switch one on — at which point that automation's messages stop counting toward your allowance at all. Opt-in, per automation, off by default.
The one adjustment to make when you compare allowances: a link delivery in inDM spends two messages, the invite and then the link after the tap. Follow-gate prompts are never counted — we bill the DMs we send for you, not the times we ask someone to follow you.
Which should you pick?
Pick ReplyRush if you need Facebook automation alongside Instagram, if you send at Boost or MAX volumes where their rate genuinely beats ours, or if being able to pay in rupees matters to you. All three are real advantages and we are not going to talk you out of them.
Pick inDM if you want the actual mechanics — comment-to-DM and the follow gate — available on a free plan, if you run more than one Instagram account, if you want more than a handful of automations running at once, or if you would rather your DMs not carry a tool's branding while you are getting started.
Both tools run on the same Meta API, so neither can move faster than Instagram's own DM limits allow — those are enforced per account, not per tool. The underlying mechanics of comment-to-DM automation are identical on either.

Questions, answered plainly
Does ReplyRush's free plan do comment-to-DM?
No. Comment auto-reply and the follow gate are both excluded from their free tier — it covers 1,500 DMs a month on 1 Instagram and 1 Facebook account with 5 triggers, and carries ReplyRush branding. inDM's free plan includes every automation type, the follow gate, unlimited automations and keywords, analytics and the inbox, at 1,000 messages a month. Checked 2026-08-14.
Is ReplyRush cheaper than inDM?
At the entry tier, no: Lite is $10 for 7,500 DMs against our $9.99 for 10,000. At Boost ($25 for 40,000) and MAX ($100 for 400,000) their per-message rate is lower than ours. But their lower tiers gate features ours doesn't, so compare what each tier is allowed to do before comparing rates.
How many automations can I run on ReplyRush?
It's capped per connected account by tier — 5 global triggers on Free, 20 on Lite, 50 on Boost, 500 on MAX. inDM does not cap automations, keywords or connected accounts on any plan.
Does ReplyRush have India pricing?
Yes — they publish USD and INR side by side on the same pricing page (₹0 / ₹900 / ₹2,100 / ₹8,400). They're one of three tools in this set that do; SuperProfile and Zorcha run separate India pricing pages instead. inDM bills in USD.
Can I switch from ManyChat or another tool?
Yes. Disconnect isn't even required first — connect your Instagram to inDM, rebuild your key automations (most creators have three or four that matter), preview, and set them live. Conversation history doesn't transfer between tools — no tool can import another's — so export your contacts from the old tool for your records. The switch guides walk through the order of operations.
Is Instagram DM automation allowed?
Yes — when it runs through Meta's official Instagram API on a professional account, and only messages people whose own action invited it, like commenting a keyword or replying to a story. That's exactly how inDM works. What breaks the rules is different: unofficial apps that ask for your password, scraping, purchased engagement, and cold outreach to people who never engaged.
