Yes, at the layer a follower sees. You can white label Instagram DM automation in inDM at the message level: on Growth and both agency plans, the DMs carry your client's brand alone. The app you work in and what a client logs into stay inDM's own, with no custom domain and no client login.
White label does not mean one thing in this category. It means three layers, and a tool can cover the first without covering the other two. This page names the layers, says which ones inDM covers, shows who sells the rest, and describes how an agency can still present the work as its own where inDM stops.
What are the three layers of white label in DM automation?
White label in DM automation means three separate layers: the DM a follower reads, the app your agency works in, and what your client logs into.
| Layer | The question | inDM |
|---|---|---|
| 1. The DM a follower reads | Does it carry the client's brand alone, or the tool's name? | Yes, on Growth, Agency Lite and Agency Pro |
| 2. The app your agency works in | Is the dashboard under your own name and domain? | No. The dashboard is inDM |
| 3. What the client logs into | Does the client get a portal or a login of their own? | No. The client connects with a link and needs no inDM account |
An agency usually needs the first layer most. The sections below take the layers one at a time.
Do the DMs carry the client's brand alone?
Yes. On Growth, Agency Lite and Agency Pro, inDM's DMs carry the client's brand alone. Growth removes app branding, and both agency plans include everything in Growth.
Every DM goes out from the client's own Instagram account, and every word you write sends exactly as written, in any language. The few messages inDM writes itself, the follow ask and the email ask with their buttons, follow one language setting per workspace, and on Growth and above you can rewrite those asks in your own words. The public reply under a comment, whether it says "check your DMs" or something of your own, posts after the DM has gone out.
So a follower who comments a keyword on the client's reel receives a message in the client's voice, from the client's account, with nobody else's name on it.
Which inDM plans carry the client's brand alone?
Growth, Agency Lite and Agency Pro each carry the client's brand alone. Growth is $4.99 for the first month, then $14.99 a month, and connects up to 5 Instagram accounts. Agency Lite is $39 a month for up to 15 accounts. Agency Pro is $99 a month for 30, then $3 a month for each one after, and adds a dedicated account manager.
The agency plans have no intro price and no trial, and nothing on any plan counts messages or contacts. Our pricing lists every plan in one table, and what DM automation costs an agency sets the same accounts against other tools.
Why does the message layer matter most to an agency?
The message layer matters most because it is the only layer the client's audience ever sees. A follower who commented a keyword is waiting for an answer from the creator or brand they follow. A message in that brand's voice continues the conversation, and a message carrying a tool's name can read as a third party stepping in.
The dashboard and any client login are seen by two groups only: your team and your client. They shape how your agency works, and they do not change what a follower makes of your client.
When do the app and the client login matter?
The app and the client login matter in two cases: an agency that resells software under its own brand, and a client who insists on logging in to see their own results.
An agency selling software under its own name, with its own domain and its own price list, needs the second layer because the product itself is the offer. An agency selling a service and running a tool behind it can leave the second and third layers alone, because what the client buys is the work: comments answered, links delivered, and a report.
A client who wants a login is the harder case, because inDM has no client login. The vendors in the next section are the ones to ask whether their white label includes one. If the real wish is to see results, the agency's own report can answer it without a login, and how agencies sell DM automation to clients covers how that report fits into the offer.
Who sells the other layers?
Two vendors in our set offer white label or co-branding to agencies, and one of them lists a price.
- Inflowave: its Max plan is $497 a month for 50 client workspaces, counting every channel, and includes white label. Read on Inflowave's pricing page on 9 October 2026, at monthly billing.
- Inrō: it offers co-branding to partners in its agency partner program, read on Inrō's agency pages on 12 October 2026.
Vendors use the term differently, so check what a plan includes against the three layers above before you assume it covers the one you need.
How can an agency present inDM work as its own?
An agency presents inDM's work as its own by putting its name on the three things a client receives: the message, the monthly report and the welcome email.
The DM, in the client's voice and brand. Write the messages as the client would: their tone, their offer, their language. If you start from a template saved on another client's account, read the wording before it goes live, so that no other client's name or offer travels with it.
The agency's own monthly report. Growth and both agency plans include link analytics: who clicked each link, and the country they clicked from. inDM shows one account at a time, so switch to the client's account, copy the numbers into your own report template, and add up the totals across clients yourself. The client reads your report, in your design. Tracking clicks on Instagram DM links explains what each number means.
The agency's own welcome email. The connect link goes into the email you already send a new client. The client opens it on their own phone, logs in on Instagram's own screen and approves, without an inDM account and without sharing a password. The page they open names your workspace, so set the workspace name to the name your clients know you by. Connecting a client's Instagram without the password shows every screen.
Where does inDM stop?
inDM stops at three places: there is no rebranded app, no client login and no reseller billing.
- No rebranded app. The dashboard is inDM. There is no custom domain and no way to run the app under your agency's name.
- No client login. A client has no portal and no login of their own. Anyone added to a workspace sees every connected account, so a client added as a team member would see your other clients too.
- No reseller billing. inDM bills the agency for its plan. It does not collect payment from your clients on your behalf.
If those three decide it for you, a white-label platform is the better fit, and the two vendors above are the ones to check first. If the message layer is the one your clients will notice, inDM covers it on every plan that removes app branding.
What to do with this
Ask which layer your clients will see, and be honest about it. If it is the message, inDM covers it today. Instagram DM automation for agencies has the rest of what an agency workspace includes.
