It depends on how the tool counts Instagram accounts. Instagram DM automation costs an agency whatever its tool charges per client account: some tools bill every account as its own subscription, some sell bundles of 3, 5 or 10 accounts, and a few sell agency plans. For 15 client accounts, the public monthly prices we read on 9 October 2026 range from $39 to $497, and several tools list no price past 10 accounts.
So the first number to know is not a price. It is how many Instagram accounts you will run in the next year, because that decides which of four pricing shapes you are shopping in. Every figure below was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 9 October 2026, at monthly billing, in US dollars. Two of these pages load with yearly billing pre-selected, which shows a lower monthly figure, so we switched each one to monthly before reading it.
How do DM automation tools price more than one Instagram account?
In four shapes, and the difference matters more than any single price.
Every account is its own subscription. ManyChat works this way. Its help centre says each Manychat account connects one Instagram account, and a second Instagram account needs a second Manychat account, with its own plan, its own contact limit and its own billing. Fifteen clients means fifteen subscriptions.
Bundles of accounts on one plan. Most Instagram-only tools sell a fixed number of accounts per tier:
- LinkDM: 3 accounts on Pro at $19, 10 on Platinum+ at $99, and a custom Enterprise plan above that.
- InstantDM: 3 accounts on Multi Starter at $15, 10 on Multi Pro at $99.
- ReplyRush: 3 accounts on Boost at $25, 5 on MAX at $100.
- CreatorFlow: 2 accounts on Pro at $15, 5 on Growth at $30.
- SuperProfile: up to 5 accounts on Creator, $4.99 for the first month and then $29, with a custom Pro plan above that (global price; SuperProfile charges less in India).
Client workspaces inside a CRM plan. Inflowave sells a full CRM with DM automation inside it. Its Pro plan is $297 for 10 client workspaces and Max is $497 for 50, and those counts cover social accounts on any channel, not only Instagram.
Agency plans by account count. inDM's Agency Lite is $39 a month for up to 15 Instagram accounts in one workspace, and Agency Pro is $99 a month for 30, then $3 a month for each account after that. Up to 5 accounts, Growth covers it: $4.99 for the first month, then $14.99 a month.
One tool in our set fits none of these. Inrō prices on contacts activated each month, from €12.99, and runs an Agency Partner Program, but its pricing page publishes no per-account price for an agency.
What does it cost to run 5, 15 and 30 client accounts?
This is each tool's lowest public monthly price that covers the whole roster in one go, read on 9 October 2026. "Not listed" means the tool's pricing page stops before that number.
| Tool | 5 accounts | 15 accounts | 30 accounts |
|---|---|---|---|
| inDM | $14.99 Growth ($4.99 the first month) | $39 Agency Lite | $99 Agency Pro |
| ManyChat | $85 (5 × Essential at $17) | $255 (15 × $17) | $510 (30 × $17) |
| CreatorFlow | $30 Growth | Not listed | Not listed |
| SuperProfile | $29 Creator ($4.99 the first month) | Pro, price on request | Pro, price on request |
| InstantDM | $99 Multi Pro | Not listed | Not listed |
| LinkDM | $99 Platinum+ | Enterprise, price on request | Enterprise, price on request |
| ReplyRush | $100 MAX | Not listed | Not listed |
| Inflowave | $297 Pro | $497 Max | $497 Max |
Read the ManyChat column with its unit in mind. Essential includes 250 active contacts a month on each account, and a busy client account will need Pro at $39 or Business at $99 instead, which multiplies the same way: 15 accounts on Pro is $585 a month. ManyChat's main pricing page showed a bot check on 9 October 2026, so its figures come from the plan articles in its own help centre, updated 27 August 2026.
Past 30 accounts, inDM's Agency Pro adds $3 a month per account: 40 accounts is $129 a month.
What else is on the bill besides accounts?
Two things: what the plan counts, and who can log in.
What the plan counts. Most of these tools cap something per month on top of the account count:
- ManyChat counts active contacts on each account: 250 on Essential, 2,500 on Pro, 7,500 on Business, with a fee for each contact above that.
- CreatorFlow allows 10,000 DMs a month per account on Growth.
- LinkDM allows 300,000 DMs a month on Platinum+.
- InstantDM allows 300,000 automated messages per account a month on Multi Pro.
- ReplyRush allows 400,000 DMs a month on MAX.
- Inflowave includes 10,000 leads on Pro.
- inDM counts no messages and no contacts on any plan, agency plans included.
Who can log in. Team seats are where an agency's second cost hides. ManyChat sets how many people can log in to each account, so a 5-person team on Essential, which allows 2 per account, runs into the limit on every client account. CreatorFlow's Growth includes 5 team seats per workspace, and Inflowave's Pro includes 5 team members. On inDM, Growth and both agency plans include the whole team, with no seat count.
Should the agency pay, or should each client?
There are two ways to run this, and several tools are built around the second one.
The agency pays one plan for every client and folds the cost into its fee. The roster lives in one workspace, and the agency controls billing. This is how inDM's agency plans, Inflowave's client workspaces and the account bundles above all work.
Each client pays for their own plan, and the agency earns a share. Three of the tools above run agency or partner programs on this model:
- CreatorFlow's Agency Partner Program pays 30 to 40% of every client subscription the agency brings, for as long as the client stays, plus a free account for the agency's own Instagram.
- Inrō's Agency Partner Program pays 20% lifetime commission on client subscriptions, or a flat discount on annual licences for agencies reselling it, plus a free agency account.
- ManyChat's Partner Program pays 30 to 50% recurring commission for the first 12 months of a referred customer, through PartnerStack.
inDM has the second model too: any inDM account can refer creators, and the referrer earns 30% of every payment a referred creator makes for as long as they keep paying, with a 60-day window from the click to the signup. On inDM the two models do not mix on one account: a referred client runs their own workspace, while an agency plan holds the clients' accounts in the agency's.
What do inDM's agency plans include?
Agency Lite is $39 a month for up to 15 Instagram accounts in one workspace. Agency Pro is $99 a month for 30, then $3 a month for each one after, and adds a dedicated account manager. Both include everything in Growth:
- Your DMs carry your brand alone, with no inDM credit line.
- See who clicked each link, and the country they clicked from.
- Up to 3 links in one automation, and a follow-up message 30 minutes to 20 hours later.
- Save an automation as a template and start it on another client's account.
- Invite the whole team, and send a broadcast to an account's whole audience at once.
Clients connect their own accounts from a connect link, without sharing a password or creating an inDM account. There is no intro price and no trial on the agency plans, and any sales tax or VAT due where you are is added at checkout. If you already pay for Growth, we move the subscription to an agency plan for you, so you are never billed twice.
The honest boundary: what other tools here have that we do not
- A combined dashboard. InstantDM's Multi Pro advertises an advanced multi-account dashboard, and Inrō's partner portal offers basic metrics across clients. inDM shows one account at a time, and the totals across clients are yours to add up.
- White label. Inflowave's Max plan puts the whole platform under the agency's own brand. inDM removes our credit line from the DMs, but the app is inDM.
- Channels beyond Instagram. ManyChat and Inflowave cover WhatsApp, SMS, email and more. inDM is Instagram only.
- Permissions per client. Everyone in an inDM workspace sees every connected account, so an agency cannot give one teammate one client and hide the rest.
If a combined dashboard or per-client permissions decides it for you, one of those tools is the better fit today, and that is worth knowing before you pay rather than after.
What to do with this
Count your accounts first, then your team, then the busiest client's monthly volume. Those three numbers turn every pricing page above into one figure you can compare. Instagram DM automation for agencies has the rest of what an agency workspace includes, and our pricing has every plan in one table.
The DM automation cost calculator runs the same figures for any number of accounts, and ManyChat alternatives for agencies sets out what each tool is best for.
