No, ManyChat does not sell a separate agency plan. ManyChat's help centre, read on 9 October 2026, lists five plans, bills every Manychat account separately, and lets each Manychat account connect one Instagram account. So an agency with ten client Instagram accounts runs ten Manychat accounts, each on its own plan. What ManyChat offers agencies is its Partner Program, which pays commission on referrals.
That answer has three parts worth unpacking: how the per-account billing works, what it adds up to across a roster of clients, and what the Partner Program does and does not do. Every figure here comes from ManyChat's own help centre, because its main pricing page showed a bot check when we tried to read it on 9 October 2026. ManyChat notes that plan availability can vary by region, and that accounts created before 2 March 2026 are moving to the current plans country by country.
How does ManyChat bill an agency with many clients?
ManyChat bills each Manychat account on its own, not each person. Its help centre says every account has its own plan, its own active contact limit, its own user and Inbox seat limits, and its own billing details. An agency can put one client on Essential and another on Business, but every client is a separate subscription.
These are the five plans, read on 9 October 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Active contacts a month | People per account | Channels |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 25 | 1 | Up to 2 | |
| Essential | $17 | $14 a month | 250 | 2 | Up to 2 |
| Pro | $39 | $29 a month | 2,500 | 3 | Up to 3 |
| Business | $99 | $69 a month | 7,500 | 5 | Unlimited |
| Advanced | $199 | $139 a month | 25,000 | 10 | Unlimited |
An active contact is a person the account talks to during the month, and each paid plan charges for every contact above its allowance: $0.10 each on Essential, $0.05 on Pro, $0.025 on Business and $0.004 on Advanced, at monthly billing.
How many Instagram accounts can one Manychat account connect?
One. ManyChat's help centre says each Manychat account can have only one connected account of each channel type, so one Instagram account, one WhatsApp number, one Telegram account and one Messenger page. To run two Instagram accounts, you create two Manychat accounts, and each has its own settings and billing.
The login is the part that spans clients. A Manychat profile, the thing you sign in with, can hold many Manychat accounts and switch between them, and other people can invite your profile into their accounts. So an agency's team signs in once and moves between client accounts, while each of those accounts is billed and staffed separately.
What does ManyChat cost for 5, 15 or 30 clients?
Multiply the plan by the number of client accounts. At monthly billing, read on 9 October 2026:
| Clients | All on Essential ($17) | All on Pro ($39) | All on Business ($99) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $85 | $195 | $495 |
| 15 | $255 | $585 | $1,485 |
| 30 | $510 | $1,170 | $2,970 |
Two things move those numbers in practice. Each client's plan is sized to that client's audience, so a roster usually mixes plans rather than sitting on one. And the contact overage is per account, so one client's reel going viral raises that client's bill and nobody else's.
Which ManyChat plans are built for agencies?
ManyChat's help centre names agencies on two of the five plans. It describes Business as built for creators, small teams and agencies handling high-volume conversations across several channels, and Advanced as built for creators, agencies and teams at the highest volume. Both are still priced per Manychat account, so an agency on Business pays $99 a month for each client account it runs there.
What is the ManyChat Partner Program?
The ManyChat Partner Program is a referral scheme, not a plan. ManyChat calls it its affiliate program, open to creators, educators, influencers, agencies and digital marketers. Its help centre, read on 9 October 2026, says it pays 30 to 50% recurring monthly commission for the first 12 months of a referred customer's subscription, depending on the partner's tier.
- It runs through PartnerStack, which handles the referral links and the payouts.
- It counts new customers only. Existing Manychat accounts do not earn commission, and attribution goes to the last link clicked.
- Payment trails the client's. A commission is approved a full month after the referred payment and paid out on the 13th of the following month.
- Referred customers get a discount when they sign up as new Manychat customers through a partner's link.
For an agency, the program changes who pays rather than what anything costs. A client who signs up through the agency's link pays for their own Manychat account, and the agency earns a share of it for a year.
Where ManyChat is the better answer for an agency
ManyChat earns its place when the work spans more than Instagram. Pro and above add WhatsApp, SMS and email, Pro adds AI automation, and Business adds lead routing and team Inbox workflows. An agency whose clients sell through WhatsApp, or who want one tool for Messenger and Instagram together, will find that in ManyChat and not in an Instagram-only tool.
Per-account billing has an upside too. Each client's cost matches that client's audience, and a client who leaves can take their Manychat account and its bill with them.
How does inDM handle agencies by comparison?
inDM prices agency work by how many Instagram accounts sit in one workspace, rather than by account or by contact. Growth holds up to 5 Instagram accounts for $4.99 the first month and then $14.99 a month. Agency Lite holds up to 15 for $39 a month, and Agency Pro holds 30 for $99 a month, then $3 a month for each one after, with a dedicated account manager. No plan counts messages or contacts, and the whole team can join without a seat count. Clients connect their own accounts from a connect link, without sharing a password.
The two units do not convert into each other neatly, which is why what DM automation costs an agency puts ManyChat, inDM and six other tools side by side at 5, 15 and 30 accounts.
The honest boundary
- This page reads ManyChat's help centre, not its pricing page. The plan articles were updated on 27 August 2026 and the account article on 7 October 2026. If your region shows different plans, the pricing page you see is the one that applies.
- inDM is Instagram only. If a client needs WhatsApp, SMS or email in the same tool, ManyChat covers it and we do not.
- inDM has no combined view across accounts. The app shows one account at a time, and everyone in a workspace sees every connected account, so there are no permissions per client.
The short version for an agency
ManyChat has no agency plan to buy. It has accounts, one Instagram account each, and a referral program on top. Price your roster account by account, and decide whether you or your clients will hold the bills.
