App Review
Why it matters for creators
App Review is the reason a tool can exist for months and still not be able to connect your account, and it is a genuine quality signal — but a narrower one than the marketing around it suggests.
What passing review means is specific: Meta examined the permissions the app asked for, watched them being used, and agreed the use matched the stated purpose. It is a real bar, and an app that has not cleared it cannot serve the public at all.
What it does not mean is endorsement. Meta reviews permissions; it does not certify that a product works well, treat it as recommended, or vouch for the company behind it. Any tool presenting approval as a seal of quality is overstating it — and that is worth applying to us as much as anyone. The honest reading of a Meta Tech Provider badge is that the tool is using official access legitimately, which is a floor rather than a recommendation.
