Why it matters for creators

Saved replies are the free, native starting point, and they are genuinely useful up to a point worth naming precisely: they save you typing, not time. Every one still needs a human to open the thread, choose it and hit send.

That distinction is the whole reason DM automation exists. A saved reply scales linearly with your attention, fifty conversations is fifty openings. An automation scales with nothing at all, because the reply fires on a keyword whether or not anyone is at the phone.
